Yesterday was my first time joining my gang from my caregroup out to the mission to 'bai nian'.
In the afternoon, I joined some of them to Benjamin's house for lunch. I really like the design of his toilet the moment I stepped inside. Simply simple and cool! There were numerous hamsters in his house. Two baby hamsters caught my attention because they were too adorable! (I had never seen baby hamster in my life before!)
Then off we went to KaiLing's house. The most anticipated program of the day should be gambling as it had been a very long time since I last gambled 21 points with my cousins. On the day before yesterday, I asked my mother how much I could really afford to lose (although I was using my own hard earned money). I actually intended to lose 10 bucks but my mother said it was too little and would finish playing very fast so she suggested 20 bucks, thus I listened to her. In the first 6 games, I won quite a lot. After I became the banker till the end of the day, I just kept losing and losing. I suddenly became super 'suay'. That was why towards the end, I only betted 50 cents. I should have listen to them not to count the money while in the games. In the end, I lost a total of 19.50 bucks. I think that the more you want to win, the more you will lose. Although a bit sad, I still enjoyed myself. I think that next time I cannot be banker anymore. Banker does not bring me any luck. Shall try my luck again during chalet.
The food that were prepared by KaiLing and her family as well as Benjamin and his family were delicious. And Ben's, JinShun's and Kim's driving skills were good. Thanks all!
Fortunately I did not feel any muscle cramp from my NAPFA test yesterday. If not, I would have difficulty in walking around or even sneezing. I now then really feel the effects. I actually should not have gone for the test as my stamina deteriorated when compared to the previous time I took the test. The test was at 7.15 am which made me having to wake up super early and did the 2.4 km run under the blazing sun as they started late. I failed again...Shall train up my stamina after the chalet! I am anticipating a different me after my intensive training. Hehe...
I do not intend to work for the time being as I really need enough rest. So for the rest of the days after my school ends, I shall stay at home to do spring cleaning (because I did not do before Chinese New Year-was too buzy with my project), complete some of my PS2 games, watch soccer matches (I have been missing a lot of matches as a result of project), sleep, rent some nice movies and do intensive training. Wow...there are actually quite a lot of things to do by just staying at home!
I am looking forward to the chalet as i think that it might be the very last chalet of my caregroup so I really cherish the moment to spend with some of my very good friends. Chalet is a good 'channel' to strengthen friendship bonds. And KaiLing is finally staying overnight!
Someone inspired me to write this-'Treasure what you have, do not regret after you lose it!!!' And do not be a coward! Haha...I added the last sentence myself to tell another someone.
Oh ya, Valentine's day was my Chinese birthday. My dad routinely bought me abalone but this year he was the one who cooked abalone mee suan for me instead of my mother because she had to work so she only boiled eggs for me. After my dad cooked finish and put on the dining table, he said 'Happy Birthday'(quite sweet of him to say that). I felt happy for what they had done. Thanks very much!
