Yesterday was my brother really unlucky day. He borrowed my dad's car out to study with a classmate (an adorable girl) at about 11 pm. He has done that a couple of times but I am not sure whether with the same girl. Then at about 12.45 am, he called my dad's handphone and my house phone. My dad knew something bad was happening. He got a car accident. A malay guy drove his car and banged onto my dad's car backside before my brother turned towards Tampines Mart. The impact was so big that the girl in the car injured the back of her head but not that serious. My brother's anger increased when the malay guy came out of the car and asked my brother's friend whether she was alright without even caring about my brother. My brother called my dad to ask for help. My dad asked my brother to request for compensation on the repairing of the car. However because the malay guy's car front was more "jialat", he refused to pay. Then the procedures were really troublesome. My brother had to take photographs of the accident, the road and asked the malay guy for his name, IC and noted down his car plate number. As the cover of my dad's car backside could not be closed, my brother had to drive the car back so that my dad could take up the important documents. My parents went down to tie the back with a string. Although my dad was very angry, he did not scold my brother as the girl was also there. He gave my brother "face". My parents said the girl looks young, beautiful and a good girl type. She is my brother school mates and is of the same age. My brother said she is not his girlfriend yet as he still has yet to decide who to choose. He wanted to sound as if he is a player.
After that, he drove the girl to study at a void deck somewhere near our block till almost 7 am. The girl did come up to our house to use the toilet once and saw me playing mahjong. She said to my brother that she wanted to play with me next time.
In the morning, my dad and brother went to make a report and claim insurance. The car is now under repair but they provide another new toyota vios for my dad to drive for 1 week. The new car is bigger but the front design is uglier when compared to the old version. I am so anticipating to sit in the new car.
