In the afternoon, my mom and I went to Loyang Point to have lunch. Then we went to Sheng Siong and saw fresh beautiful flowers which are selling cheap cheap. Then I was thinking that how I wish to receive flowers on V. Day. LOL. My mom replied that she never received a single flower before in her life (But actually I did give her a stalk of fake rose which would play music when pressing a button somewhere outside the rose when I was in Primary 2 or 3 bought from my school bookshop on Mothers Day-which is kept till now). So she said that her life is way worse than me. Also actually I did receive 3 roses of different colours on my birthday 4 years ago from my secondary school classmates. I was so happy when they came to my workplace and handed me the roses, saying that 3 roses meant I Love You. LoL. The roses were in red, pink and yellow colours. They were really beautiful. I tried to make them survive long by transforming them into dried roses but the result was not that good- the roses looked terrible and there was no fragrance anymore. It is sad to see flowers not being able to survive long. My dad bought a pot of beautiful colourful japanese flowers for the lunar new year (which was chosen by me- it was actually a love at first sight when I first saw the flowers). Although a few flowers still blossomed, all the flowers withered within a week. In conclusion, fresh flowers do not last.

Then I rushed to polyclinic to see doctor (as polyclinic was going to close) because my lips are still having the stinging pain when brushing my teeth although the swellness have disappeared. The doctor said my lips are just dry, nothing serious is happening to them. So he just prescribed me an anti-inflammatory thing to apply on. I think I will only apply before sleep as I am afraid that after I apply and I drink water, the water will taste weird.

My dad gave me a necklace for my 21st birthday. Although I do not need any necklace, I still felt happy the moment I received my present. I kept telling him not to buy anything but he still insisted in giving me something this year. A bit of wasting money though.

I have just received a letter from my attachment supervisor. She was wishing me happy valentine day and enclosed with a handmade ring. The ring looks not that bad. Last year, she gave all the people in the lab a rose clip also done by her. Sweet of her.
