Today is 22nd of February! Girl Guides Day! Once a girl guide, always a girl guide! So I want to wish a happy Girl Guides Day to all the girl guides (including ShinFen and ShiHui) around the world. A few years back, I was the one pulling the National flag and sometimes saying the pledge on stage but I shivered like having jelly legs especially when looking at the students when saying the pledge using the microphone. I still keep the uniform, books and marching boot as I do not bear to throw them away. It was funny that my batch only had 4 girl guides. Very pathetic. However fortunately there were increasing number of girls joined in the next years thus my school Girl Guides CCA can survive till now and even participated in Youth and National Day marching ceremony.
I could not really sleep yesterday, maybe because I was still too happy and excited.
Although I somewhat suspected what was going on from all kind of sources (watching too much CSI will tend to suspect here and there), I never expected all of the people to be present. I thought maybe only Angelynn, Michelle X2, Leong and Ben might celebrate with me. So I was super shocked when I opened the door and saw so many people especially those not living in the east de in the room. I was also shocked to see the dian xiao er roasted duck. I was really not observative enough to realised that ShiHui and ShinFen were behind me when I was waiting for the lift with Michelle. My position was just nice that my back was facing them. Haha. Oh ya, actually did not have to blame KaiLing as not only her sms made me suspicious, a lot of things alo caused my suspection, such as the first ever food tasting session which invited me, the first time needed to wash feet in Michelle house, the first time no entry to her room to put bag, first time I saw a room with no air-con but still closed the door, the tap and flushing in the outside toilet spoilt together, mysterious date on Angelynn blog and Michelle kept insisting to pass the things to Angelynn personally. All those developed question marks in my mind. By sending sms to me, KaiLing actually made me think that she would not be celebrating with me. I want to thank all for travelling to come to the end east side, the handmade enoromous one and only Piyo card with the printed picture and greetings, replicates Naruto cake (I did not know that you all would choose cupcakes and add in Narutos figures-Very Kawaii!), nice elegant watch (actually my mom wanted my-always-wearing-watch to wear for work so she was so happy when she saw the watch as my birthday gift-Haha), specially bought the duck and cooked the food, thanks Michelle for providing your house for celebration (sorry that you and KaiLing had to wash lots of dishes), thanks Michelle for the Stephenie Meyer Twilight and New Moon (Do not worry about the last two books as I will definitely take a very long time to finish them and my brother also wants to read the books after I read finish (he super ah gua de) but I will lend it to you before him- Haha). I am sorry that all the people had to burn holes in their pockets, ShinFen and ShiHui had to climb the stairs, xin ku KaiLing for taking the cupcakes so long, xin ku everybody for being so hungry waiting the food, sorry that I did not organise any chalet or bbq. I do appreciate the time taken for buying the watch, duck, ingredients, books, making the card, cooking and planning (had to squeeze all of your brain juices). Actually before I open the door, I thought that there maybe a big Piyo on the bed. Haha. But I anyhow guessed human beings inside the room because the people were so anticipating to see me opening the door. It was my very first time I saw so many people making an effort for my birthday which would definitely become an unforgettable one. And I have to pei fu u all having all sorts of ideas in the mind. Haha. I was also super nervous when I had to guess what my presents were and opening the presents (Hands shivered and shivered). Haha.
Yesterday my lucky star is finally with me as I managed to win in 21 dots (maybe because my birthday was celebrated before the betting and I-Michelle-joint betting). I am also very happy to help Michelle T. to win very few rounds (second time I helped her played and won since the first time playing one game of mahjong). I am going to wrap the books with plastics cover to maintain cleanliness and neatness (I can finally use the skills that I learnt during my worklife at Kino-Haha). I shall read Twilight tomorrow if I wake up early if I choose not to watch HotShot. Then tomorrow I am also going to White Sands City Chains to take out some of the steel chains as the watch is too big for my wrist. And my mom has to put in some of the steel chains in my old watch as it is too small for her wrist. While for the big Piyo card, I put it on my desk for display and really hope that the greetings that were written down (and also the three wishes that I made before I blown the candle) will come true for me for my 21-year-old life or even forever...
