I really woke up after 9.30 am for the result show. Actually I bet two bucks with my brother on who would win the title (this is what we always do for American Idol- last year I won two bucks because I bet on David Cook and he on David Archuleta as Archuleta performed better and I told him that winner would usually be the one who performed better de and I let him choose first before I took Cook- he said that I cheated his money for saying "the winner would usually be the one who performed better de" after the result show). For this season, I chose Adam and told my bro because he performed better but he insisted on taking Adam as he said he liked his rocker style so I just bet on Kris. Actually I supported Adam de because his vocal was very powerful and could hit high notes that Kris could not reach although I bet on Kris. The betting was plainly for fun. But I was really shocked when the winner was announced because Adam was the hot favourite while Kris was the dark horse. I thought that I would lose the bet but in the end still won. This season's "No boundaries" is a nice song! When I woke up, I saw Rob Stewart singing. There were some celebrities like Nicole Richie (when I watched the repeat telecast, I saw her dad singing no wonder she was sitting at the audience seat) and past winners (I like Cook's performance!). The awards and the video clip on the introduction of the judges were damn funny. By the way, after the morning live show on Channel 5 (StarWorld a bit slower by a few seconds so I watched Channel 5 one), I went to sleep but I still watched the repeat telecast at 6pm on StarWorld because I had missed the front part in the morning. Oh ya, I watched them sang "We are the champions" and don't-know-why felt really gan dong. Adam and Kris both deserved it since they have managed to come so far to the final le. Adam did not have to feel sad at all since he can definitely get the contract.
Prison break is back on second June on Channel 5 showing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night!!! Nice as people can watch so many episodes within a week! But if I go for training, I will not be able to watch...Super sad!
Today was a day full of places to go. I went to the childcare centre to take my medical report. Then went to Elias Mall to buy some dental products. It was super hot for me to walk from the number three busstop all the way to the mall. The hot sun almost melted me. After that I took the wrong side of the bus 359 and sat for extra 10 plus stops before I reached my house. I felt really humid so I took a bath before heading to PS to meet the guys. I am sorry that I was late but I did squeeze myself inside the city hall train with my ear and glasses almost crushed by the train door with effort in order not to be more late. Lol. While on the train heading home, I saw a yandao guy who looked like Dai Yang Tian (Little Nyonya's handsome Japanese guy). And kim confirmed that he lived in Tampines because she saw him alighting at the Tampines stop. If there is fate, I can definitely see him again since we live so near. Lol.
Maybe the yandao guy brought luck to me because when I went home, I received letter from the job. Not rejection letter, it is approval letter! I succeeded through my first interview! But I cannot go for the medical check-up next week because I am currently having menses so I will have to postpone it. Sianz. If everything goes well, I will go for six months training on mid-June! I am anticipating but also feeling quite scared because it would be my first time leaving home for so long. I will miss my mom, dad, bro, my bed, toilet, my room and the whole house...and my hair if there is a need to trim off...
